The Government of the Russian Federation addressed a welcome letter to the V International Forum Marine Industry of Russia.

On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and personally, I congratulate the organizers, participants and guests of the V International Forum Marine Industry of Russia.

For a period of 5 years, Marine Industry of Russia Forum has been joining forces of industry, science, business and authorities to modernise the shipbuilding industry, port infrastructure and logistics, and to promote economic and social development of the regions.

The exhibitions presented at the International Forum by the leading foreign marine companies, special exhibitions of marine regions of Russia, and the business program of the Forum are meant to encourage the industry, science, business and authorities to join forces in solving tasks related to import substitution and transformation of the national shipbuilding into a high-tech competitive sector.

I am confident that Marine Industry of Russia Forum will make a considerable contribution to the implementation of the State Program of the Russian Federation – Shipbuilding Development for 2013-2030, and will set the scene for even more close cooperation between the national manufacturers and international partners for launching new shipbuilding projects.

I wish all participants and guests of the exhibition a fruitful work and success in achieving their objectives.
