Russia celebrated Submariner Day March 19. In St. Petersburg, held celebrations dedicated to the anniversary of the submarine fleet of Russia

The main event for the St. Petersburg Submariners was an event dedicated to the 106th anniversary of the Russian submarine fleet. It was a memorable sign ”100th anniversary of the Russian submarine forces” near the entrance of Admiralty Shipyards.
Submariner Day celebrated in Russia on March 19. In 1906, Emperor Nicholas II signed a decree according to which the Navy has a new type of ships – submarines.
Currently, the Russian Navy 14 nuclear submarines with ballistic missiles, 27 nuclear submarines with rocket-torpedoes and 18 diesel submarines.
