The International Forum Marine Industry of Russia received the greeting from the Chairman of Committee on Industry of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Sobko S.V.

On behalf of the Committee on Industry of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, I welcome and congratulate the organizers, participants and guests of the V jubilee International Forum Marine Industry of Russia.

The Forum is held annually to the order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 44-p dated January 25, 2013. This event is held within the State Program for Development of the Civil Shipbuilding of Russia until 2030 prepared for implementation, which key objectives have a top priority for the activity of the Committee on Industry of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
The Forum envisages a large-scale business program inter alia devoted to topical issues and prospects in the field of import substitution, creation of a single integrated system for ancillary equipment and material, which features numerous industry-specific and business meetings, round tables, and extensive exchange of ideas.

The formats of interaction of the parties concerned within the Forum are extremely varied and multi-faceted. They are aimed at joining forces of science, industry, business and authorities to modernize the shipbuilding and port industry, to create modern vessels equipped with the cutting-edge technologies, and further promotion of economic and social development of our country’s regions.

I am confident that V Forum Marine Industry of Russia will be successful and will help to achieve the objectives of its participants, give new momentum to the implementation of the Program for Development of the Civil Shipbuilding of Russia, development of public-private partnership, and implementation of industrial policy of Russia.
I wish all parties concerned an active participation in the Forum and most importantly – to achieve stated objectives.
